Who I Am
Before I was a trainer, I was studying sociology at Columbia University and trying to be a journalist. I wanted to hear and tell people's stories, but quickly learned that I was more interested in hearing and helping people with their stories instead. I also knew that I couldn't sit still at a computer all day - I needed movement. I worked on cattle stations in Australia, got certified as a wilderness first responder, urban EMT, yoga teacher, and more. Finally, my curiosity in the human body, human stories, and movement culminated in a 6 year and growing career as a personal trainer. I'll listen to what you need, get you to start communicating with your body, and help you learn how to use your body to move through the rest of your story. My years of experience working in Brooklyn, NY gave me the discipline to invest rigorously in my skillset, and now I am bringing those skills to San Diego. Work with me if you want to sit in the drivers seat of your body, from major life events to day to day activities.
